If you were thinking of updating your family portrait with your pets, now is a great time to support a great cause at the same time.
How do you take part?
To be part of this exciting fundraising initiative, click the button below to register your details. A $51 per family participation fee is payable at the time of booking your portrait session, all of which will be forwarded to the Royal Society to the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Australia. (RSPCA) We will then contact you to arrange a time for your portrait session. This is your chance to help a good cause and also have a beautiful portrait session with your loving pets, so get involved today. You will also be featured in a book called “FAMILY TAILS… A Celebration of Families and their Pets”.

What is National Family Pet Portrait Month?
National Family Pet Portrait Month is in October 2019 and is a national fundraising effort in Australia, to help raise $10,000 for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA).
What is in it for the customer?
In addition to helping raise much-needed funds for the RSPCA, and having a priceless portrait taken, you will also have the opportunity to purchase photographs from your photography session, as a record of your beloved pet with your family.

Can I have more than one pet in the photographs?
We will be happy to photograph extra pets and people at no extra cost.
Can I purchase photographs?
Yes, of course, Don Shiel Photography will give you the opportunity to purchase photographs
Will my photograph be in the book?
Yes, all those who pay their participation fee and photographed will appear in the book.
Do I get to choose the photograph for the book?
The book designer will choose all the photographs in the book to ensure that the design is balanced.
When will the book be published?
We hope to have the books published by March 2020.
How much will the book cost?
The price of the book will depend on the total number of books ordered but will be around $125.
Where can I buy the book?
The book may be purchased online or from participating photographers.
